Field of View

Field of view (FOV) refers to the extent of the observable area or space you can see through optics, typically measured in degrees. A wider field of view allows you to see more of your surroundings, while a narrower field of view restricts your vision to a smaller area.

Optics with a wide field of view offer several advantages. They enable you to locate your subject more easily, track moving targets more effectively, and are less likely to amplify any shaking or movement from the user, resulting in a more stable viewing experience. Despite the added magnification, the Pro Issue 10x42 has a wide field of view.
